Very large kitchen with all mod cons. (double Falcon oven, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher, one very large fridge and the other is a half fridge half freezer), which is open-plan to the dining room, which seats fourteen adults around the table (you will find the three extra chairs in downstairs bedrooms)if you pull the table ends out, otherwise its 8 to 10. This leads (open-plan) to the sitting room which has a TV and DVD player if you want to be a “lounge lizard”. There are fantastic views from all aspects of these rooms and all are double glazed – as is the whole house. It was designed this way so that no-one got stuck in the kitchen and you can keep an eye on the kids at all times!!!
Large twin, which also doubles as the children’s ‘chill out room’ There are 2 beds in here plus a day bed which doubles as a sofa, so this room can sleep 3 in comfort.
There are two bathrooms on this floor. One is a traditional bathroom with bath and shower built in to the bath, the other is a shower room. Both have loos.
There is a utility room (washing machine and tumble dryer), which is off the main hall area and leads to the Dry room from where you can get to the wet room where there are two showers. You can come in to the house via the back door when you have been on or in the water and then shower and wash your wet suit in the butler sink in the wet room. You will see a rail in the wet room to hang wet suits.
Then you go in to the dry room before going through to the main part of the house.
This way none of the mess gets into the house (PLEASE). You will see a rail in the wet area to hang wet suits.
So in total it sleeps up to thirteen.If you require a cot for a baby you can hire these in the village
There is a terrace extending in an L shape around the living area, This has lighting built in to the part of the terrace that runs parallel to the dining area. There is a large table which seats 10 and a BBQ which is gas lit around the corner on the main part of the terrace which also has a large seating area to enjoy the view and the sunshine!!
There is a gate at the bottom of the garden which gives access to the road and makes walking to the beach even quicker.
We will send a key to you which you return on departure, a deposit of 25% will be paid at the time of booking and the balance paid in advance of your arrival and receipt of the key. You have access to the house from 3 pm on the day of arrival and have to have left by 10 am on the morning of departure to enable the house keeper to go in and clean. Clean does not mean restore the house to its former glory, you will be expected to have left the house tidy and they will go in and complete the job. New tenants will be expected to pay a refundable £100 deposit to cover any breakages or additional cleaning required. Please understand that we regard this house very much as a home and therefore expect tenants to also treat it as such.
All you have to take is duvet covers, sheets, pillow case covers and towels everything else is provided. If you are tight on space when travelling then it is possible to arrange to hire these items in Rock.
